In this ‘Day in the Life series, with XLVets Ireland and MSD Animal Health, during Day 3 we follow Pat Devine, Lismore Veterinary, XLVets Ireland member practice.
Pat is currently busy with pre-breeding preparation including scanning cows, washing cows and sync programmes. Pat also has a number of mares in his care. Similar to Mulcair veterinary, Pat had a number of castration procedures on horses and bulls. We also got to visit a piggery where Pat took blood samples and nasal swabs to monitor the health status of the piggery.
