A minimum of four years’ small animal experience is required for this role. Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon Position, Bandon, Co. Cork

Mixed Vet Position, Killaloe, Co. Clare

Killaloe Veterinary Clinic, part of XlVets Ireland, has a position for a mixed practice veterinary surgeon to join their young expanding team on the Clare Tipperary border overlooking picturesque Lough Derg.

This will be a full time position. Though partime applications will be considered Large animal included dairy, beef, suckler and ovine work, with a wide variety of clinical work. Vibrant small animal practice with interesting case load for both medicine and surgery. Routine clinic times operated by appointment. Usual bloods, U/S, digital Xray etc. Standard rota 1/3 but expands to shared 1/6 weekend rota.

Suitable candidate should have a degree registered with VCI and be ERAD compliant, experience not required but enthusiasm is essential. CPD encouraged and supported as well as access to  XLVets graduate program. Remuneration dependent on experience. Package includes VCI, VDS and veterinary Ireland subscriptions and a 4×4 vehicle is available if required.
