O Connor Julian Vets are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse .

They are a 13 vet 5 nurse busy mixed XLVets practice with an established small animal hospital. Their purpose-built small animal hospital provides an enthusiastic nurse to be part of a team with all the necessary equipment to progress their skills. In-house lab, DR xray, two operating suites and prep room, endoscopy & laparoscopy, full range of orthopaedic equipment etc. Experience preferred but not essential. New graduate will be considered. Good working environment with friendly team and good support and XLVets Nurse Graduate Promgramme for right candidate. VDS and VCI funded. Generous Staff discount and uniforms supplied. On call rota 1 in 5 . (1 night plus 1 Saturday in 5 , day off in lieu of Saturday)

Experienced/newly graduated sixth vet required to join Longford Animal Health Centre’s supportive team of five vets and two nurses in their VCI accredited CA and FA hospital. Full-time position with 1:5 rota but flexible working hours considered. Opportunity to focus in any area of their 50% FA/40% CA/10% EQ mixed practice. XLVets member with associated support and grad programme availability. Central location with plenty of leisure amenities nearby. €48k to €70k depending on skill set and experience.

They are located 25 minutes from Cork city centre and cover the scenic east Cork/west Waterford region. 65% LA (of which 90% is dairy and seasonal) and 35% SA with hopes to expand further.
