XLVets Ireland are delighted to be announced as the official jersey sponsors of the Clare Masters Gaelic football team.  

Founded in 2011, the Gaelic Masters Association is an amateur sporting organisation, focusing on the promotion of Gaelic games for people aged 40 years and older. The competition offers a way of keeping past players involved in the game. Teams from across Ireland and London, UK are represented in the championship. 

Speaking on the sponsorship, Clare Masters manager Patrick Geary says “XLVets support is a significant boost to our team and speaks to the strong connection between sport and community-focused businesses in Clare.  We look forward to wearing the XLVets logo with pride on and off the pitch.  Here’s to a successful and spirited season ahead – together!”  Training has commenced, with both former club and inter- county players togging out for the Clare side. Players born before 1985 are eligible to pay for the side and any interested parties should contact the team via Facebook or Instagram

Clare began their campaign at home to Cork on Saturday, May 10th at Lissycasey GAA grounds, where the side won, beating the Cork side 3-12 to 2-10.  Clare meet Limerick in the next round of the championship on Saturday, 24th May.
